A Challenge to Followers of Christ
Make Sure Ministries is challenging all believers to become disciples in order to make disciples (Matthew 28:19)
Be always ready to make a defense for your faith …
Devote yourselves to the Word of God (Acts 2:42) so that you can always be ready to make a defense for your faith (1 Pet. 3:15). But more than that, Jesus has asked us to go on the offense. Jesus said, “Go and make disciples (learners) of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit” (Matt. 28:19).
Go on the offensive …
His last words before ascending into heaven were, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be witnesses of Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8).
The Witnesses are zealously coming to your door …
Having been involved in the Jehovah’s Witnesses for 12 years it saddens us that such groups are zealously witnessing and offering free home Bible studies, but don’t even know the real Jesus. Isn’t there something wrong with this picture? (We offer One-on-One Bible Studies by Phone at no charge and no obligation.)
So let’s become fishers of men ourselves …
So we hold up the challenge to you the Christian. Let’s share in our neighborhoods and within our shperes of influence, offering to teach the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. I’m sure there are people in our neighborhoods who would love to study God’s Word and who have questions that have never been answered. Let’s become fishers of men who loves our neighbor as ourselves.
Pray for opportunities …
The Lord has called us to share the saving truth of Jesus wherever and whenever opportunities arise. So pray for those opportunities and for His power and for the Holy Spirit to give us the courage and the wisdom and the ability to teach others the Gospel.
Pray that God will fill and guide you …
Pray that God will fill you with His Spirit and His Truth. “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Tim. 2:15).

Let’s put on the complete armor of God and shod our feet with the Gospel of peace. It is a privilege to be soldiers for Christ.
