According to Genesis 1:1 God created the Universe out of nothing. Jehovah’s Witnesses believe Jesus (aka Michael the Archangel according to the Watchtower) was the first “thing” God created and He then used Jesus/Michael to create everything else. However, that raises some questions, such as …

Is creation of the Universe out of nothing an example of God’s Almighty power in action? Doesn’t the apostle John say Jesus did this?

All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

—John 1:3

Isn’t someone who exercises almighty power Almighty?

If the Father delegated such power to another wouldn’t there be two Almighty’s?

Is God’s almighty power part of His glory? Will God share His glory with another?

I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

—Isaiah 42:8

The conclusion to this is that there is more than one Person in the Godhead. The Trinity solves this “question” but the Watchtower doesn’t believe in the Trinity. So they have this problem.
